Mass Save Paid-training & Job Placement for Weatherization and HVAC:
The Solomon Group is working on behalf of Mass Save’s Clean Energy Pathways Program (https://www.masssave.com/community/clean-energy-pathways) to recruit trainees for its weatherization and HVAC training cohorts.
Mass Save is working to build a clean energy workforce to support the future of energy-efficient and climate-resilient construction and development. Experts estimate that skilled labor to support this burgeoning clean energy economy is already 10,000 jobs short of what is needed. This translates into gainful careers for those who enter these fields. To accomplish the task of building this workforce, Mass Save provides three months of full-time paid training followed by job placement. Mass Save pays at a rate of $20.00/hour.
We have been charged with recruiting 250 trainees who are 18-25 year olds to join these training programs.
Weatherization trainees require no previous experience to be eligible. HVAC trainees must be licensed or have other significant HVAC-related experience.
